monkey forest bali

we are at an internet cafe now at monkey forest rd in ubud, which is the cultural center of bali...it's our third night here. the first we stayed at jimbaran before moving to ubud.

decided to surf instead of going for another dance performance. so far we have been to two already. tonight we would have wanted to go for the kecak dance...but we decided against it. maybe next time. today we had gone for a daytrip to kintamani and pura bekasih. pura means temple, like what wat is in thailand ;P

bali is suppose to be one of the smaller islands in the indonesian archipelago..but we realised it is pretty big. heck maybe anything is bigger than singapore. the daytrip tired us out so we had ended the day with a massage and scrub treatment.

he also had just called his dad. and i think his dad kind of freaked out when he told him that we are staying in the middle of a sawah padi and there are very few people staying there..heh. it's true..it's gelap gelita and there is no tv. he must think we have very weird taste. heh..yes we do. it's actually a beautiful place. very au naturel. but more about that later. coz that's all for now :)
